Growing up I was nomadic. I've experienced living in many states, and moving more times than I care to count.

Finding myself in times of intense darkness and times of complete joy.

Every time, I found art.

I have sought it out, studied it, and used it to change not only my life, but and others' as well.

I found my love for Interior Design in College  while teaching preschool and designing a space for my preschool students. I was amazed when I realized the impact that the design not only had on me and my teaching, but on the students. The design created an environment that enhanced learning and improved behavior, and helped eliminate teaching obstacles. 

This led me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree, while shadowing accomplished professionals, and spending years of trial and error honing my craft. While in college I enjoyed being the editor of The Collage Magazine, having the honor of my art published, as well as taking as many art classes as I could find.

After graduation I became a professional Interior Designer. I found a love for Kitchen and Bath design along with a talent for designing small spaces, spa inspired Bathrooms, and huge Kitchen islands. I have been professionally creating art and designing interiors for over 20 years.

I found art again stronger than ever after the loss of two loved ones, leaving me mourning, missing my

Joy, and in desperate need of an outlet. 

In an effort to find happiness in the memories, I took out my paints. Recollections of the places I have traveled to and shared with the people I have loved over my life came flooding out with the first stoke of my paintbrush.

You will see the inspiration of all the beautiful places I've had the privilege to visit, from West Coast to East Coast imprinted on my art. I communicate by incorporating mixed media including paint, texture, ink, and mediums on canvas, wood, and wall murals, and have recently enjoyed using fluid art & texture together. I love using reclaimed items, and incorporating metals and natural material that initiates emotion in ways that enhances everyday living.

I also have an appreciation for lighting and love making custom lighting pieces as artwork to add personal style to my clients' homes.
